Gianmaria Bruni

Porsche GT Factory Driver

Gianmaria’s racing career began at 7 years old. After showing his great talent in all single-seater junior categories (Formula Renault Eurocup, Formula 3 and Formula 3000), in 2003 he joined the European Minardi F1 Team as Test driver and then in 2004 he was appointed as official driver. In 2007, after two years in the GP2 Series, Gimmi started his challenge in the GT with Ferrari as factory driver.

Bruni won in 2008 the title of “Best GT Driver in the World” and from that time onwards his racing career has been full of successes with Ferrari in the most important GT Championship including the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 hours of Le Mans. In 2017, looking for new challenges, Gimmi signed a multi-year contract with Porsche Motorsport AG and become their factory driver in IMSA, the FIA World Endurance Championship and the most prestigious endurance series including the 24 hours of Le Mans, the 24 hours of Daytona, the 12 hours of Sebring and the Petit Le Mans.
